Booking
Booking
Booking lets people outside MaxSuite pick a time with you, without messages back and forth. You offer a meeting, such as a 30-minute intro on Google Meet. It gets its own short link. Anyone with the link sees only the times you are free, picks one, and the meeting goes into your Google Calendar (module booking).
In the sidebar under Communications → Booking. It reads your free time from a Google account you linked on the Google page with calendar access, and sends invites from a mailbox you connected under Mail.
Booking
The screen has four tabs: Bookings, Event types, Hours and Settings.
Bookings
Every booking made through your links, split into Upcoming, Past and Cancelled. Each row shows when, the event type, who booked and the status, such as Confirmed or No-show. Flags show when something did not happen, for example Not in calendar or Invite not sent.
Open a booking to see the answers the person gave. Names and answers were typed by the person who booked, so treat them as their words. From an open booking you can:
- Move it to another free time. The person is emailed the new time.
- Cancel booking. You can give a Reason, if you cancel. It is mailed with the cancellation.
- Mark no-show, or Undo no-show.
- Open in Contacts, when the person is in Contacts.
Event types
An event type is a meeting you offer. Choose New event type and fill in:
- Name: what the person booking sees, for example "30-minute intro".
- Length (minutes): 5 to 480.
- Where: Google Meet (a Meet link is added to the invite), Phone call, In person (an address) or Online (a link).
- Note on the booking page: shown above the times, for example what to prepare.
- Mailbox invites are sent from: needed before the link can be switched on.
- Minimum notice (hours), Days ahead (1 to 60), Most a day, Gap before and Gap after (minutes), and Start times every (minutes). With 15, times are offered at 09:00, 09:15, 09:30 and so on.
- Reminders (minutes before): up to three, separated by commas.
1440, 60sends one a day before and one an hour before. - Questions: name and email are always asked. Add a question adds more, as short text, long text or phone, each optional or required.
Each event type has a short link, /b/<code>, to send to anyone. New link replaces it and the old link stops working. Switch off stops offering it. Only an event type with no bookings can be deleted.
Hours
- Your calendar: the Google account whose calendar is checked for busy time and gets each booked meeting. Until you pick one, no link can be switched on.
- Time zone: your hours are in this zone. People booking see times in their own.
- Weekly hours: only times inside these are ever offered. Add more than one block for a day with a break. Use Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 fills in a working week.
- Days away: no times are offered on these dates.

booking:write | Set your hours, make booking links, and cancel or move your bookings. |
booking:manage | See and change everyone's booking links and bookings, and the booking settings such as the spam check. |

What happens on its own
