Connector hub
Connector hub
The connector hub reaches many outside services through one hub, so you do not have to define each tool by hand (module connectorhub). You browse the hub's services, import the tools you want one by one, and they become connector tools that agents can be given, under the same checks as any other tool on Connectors.
In the sidebar under Connections → Connector hub. Needs: Connectors and Agents. It gives agents no tools of its own: what you import shows up as connector tools.
Connector hub
The screen has four tabs.
- Status: whether the hub is on for your organisation, the statement What leaves our servers (what is sent for each call, what comes back, what the hub keeps and what never leaves), this month's calls and fees, and the Monthly ceiling. When the platform has no hub connected, it says so and every hub tool refuses with "No hub connected".
- Services: search the hub. Each service shows whether it is Imported, Ready-made here, Needs a sign-in app (the owner registers one first) or Has an outside MCP server.
- Imports: the tools you imported. Nothing imported until you import some.
- Held changes: a tool whose definition changed at the hub waits here for an admin before it runs again, with Approved and At the hub now side by side.
A platform administrator also sees Platform: the hub connection: the Hub address, the Fee per call, the Free calls a month, and whether Zero Data Retention is on for this project. They can Save and test, Turn on for the instance or Turn off for the instance with a Reason to switch off that every organisation is shown.
What you can do
Turn the hub on for your organisation
- Open Connector hub → Status and read What leaves our servers.
- Tick I have read what leaves our servers.
- Confirm the Monthly ceiling of hub calls. 10,000 is suggested.
- Press Turn on.
Turning it on accepts the statement for the organisation. If the statement changes later, admins are told and the hub stays on. Turn off keeps imports, accounts and grants for turning it on again.
Import tools
- Open Services and Search the hub.
- Open a service and tick the tools you want. Tick all reads ticks every read tool.
- Check each tool's Mark: what it does decides when a person is asked first. Lowering a mark below the proposal needs a reason, which is kept with who lowered it and when.
- Check the Tool name: agents call it as
connectors.<name>. It starts with the service's key and is at most 48 characters. - Press Import. Remove takes a tool back out.
Decide a held change
On Held changes, compare the two versions and press Approve or Decline with a reason. Until then agents keep the approved version.
Change the ceiling
Set a new Monthly ceiling and press Save ceiling. Calls past it are refused until it is raised. Admins are told at 80% and at 100%. Lowering it asks Why lower it.
Who can do what
| Permission | Lets you |

What happens on its own
| Job | When | What it does |
|---|---|---|
hub-ping | Every minute | Checks that the hub answers, when the platform switch is on and some organisation uses it. Calls stop for a while if it keeps failing. |
hub-definitions | Every day at 04:40 UTC | Reads the imported tools' definitions at the hub again and holds any that changed for an admin. |
Needs
Connectors and Agents. A platform administrator must connect a hub first.
What agents can do
This module gives agents no tools. Imported hub tools are connector tools, listed on Connectors, and an agent uses them as the accounts it was given.
