Organisations
An organisation is one business on this MaxSuite: its own people, teams, data and settings. Platform administrators see every organisation; everyone else works inside their own.
The list of organisations is a tab on Admin → People, beside People and Teams. The old address /organisations still works and takes you there. Press an organisation to open its own page.
What you see on an organisation's page
- Settings: the organisation's name, and whether its people May connect outside MCP servers.
- People in this organisation: each person's name, username and email, and whether they are an admin.
- Teams: the teams in the organisation and who is in each.
- What this organisation may use: the modules, tool packs and single tools granted to it.
- Lent connections: AI connections lent to the organisation, each with a monthly limit.
- Suspend or remove: stop the organisation for a while, or remove it.
What you can do
Add a person
- Under People in this organisation, fill in Name, Username and Email. Tick Admin if they should run the organisation.
- Save. MaxSuite makes a one-time link the person uses to choose their own password. See Profile and sign-in.
A new link kills any earlier one. Use it when a person lost theirs.
Other things you can do with a person:
- Change their name or email.
- Make them the organisation's Owner. The current Owner stays an admin.
- Give or take a role. Taking one away works at once, in chat, agents, MCP and API keys.
Run teams
Make a team with a name and a short description, then add people to it. Anything shared with a team reaches its members through it. Removing a person from a team leaves their account alone. Removing a team keeps its members; what was shared with the team stops reaching them.
Choose what the organisation may use
Grant one of three kinds:
- A module: all its tools, including ones it gains later.
- A pack: a named set of tools. It follows the pack as the pack is edited.
- A single tool: just that tool.
Anything not granted is refused as if it did not exist. A grant that names something no longer on this MaxSuite is marked and reaches nothing.
Lend an AI connection
Under Lent connections, lend one of your workspace's AI connections and set a Monthly limit in tokens. Set Warn at percent: the organisation's admins and the person who lent it are told once a month when use reaches that share. If you have nothing to lend, add a connection on the AI page first. See AI.
Suspend or remove
- Suspend: its people are signed out and its agents stop. Resume puts it all back. You give a Reason.
- Remove: it is hidden and stopped; nothing is deleted. Restore brings it back. Removed organisations are listed under Removed.
